This April 7 and 8, mark your calendar! The Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Inc. brings you the National Chemistry Students’ Congress 2018!

With the theme “Catalyze: Accelerating the Pace of Science and Technology through Chemistry,” this year’s NCSC (National Chemistry Students’ Congress 2018) aims to highlight the role of chemistry as a catalyst in the field of Science and Technology. From the discovery of fire to the discovery and use of certain processes such as nuclear reactions for the daily consumption of energy, indeed, Chemistry remains to be an indisputable driving force in the advancement of science and technology.

We are proud to be part of this event together with PikNik and WhenInManila.com. The event will have different competition as follows. Please read the mechanics carefully before proceeding with the registration.

1.  NATIONAL CHEMISTRY STUDENTS’ CONGRESS 2018: Poster Presentation

The Poster Presentation competition is a sub-event of the annual National Chemistry Students Congress organized by the Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Incorporated. It aims to give undergraduate Chemistry students an opportunity to present their thesis before well-respected panelists. The top 2 researchers will be awarded with free registrations to the 33rd Philippine Chemistry Congress (PCC) this coming May.  The competition is open to all undergraduate students taking up Chemistry or Chemistry-related courses. 2.  NATIONAL CHEMISTRY STUDENTS’ CONGRESS 2018: PACSiklaban

PACSiklaban is an annual inter-collegiate chemistry quiz bee, one of the sub-events of the National Chemistry Students Congress (NCSC) organized by the Philippine Association of Chemistry Students, Incorporated (PACS, Inc). Now in its 29th year, the PACSiklaban aims to highlight the chemistry academe and to recognize the best and brightest chemistry students all over the country. It is designed to test the skills and knowledge of all participants in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. The winners of PACSiklaban will be bringing home medals, plaque and cash prizes. PACSikalaban is open to undergraduate students taking up BS Chemistry or Chemistry-related courses only. The event will also host a symposium,  NATIONAL CHEMISTRY STUDENTS’ CONGRESS 2018: Symposium, that is open to all undergraduate students taking up Chemistry or Chemistry-related courses. The symposium is a sub-event of the annual National Chemistry Students Congress (NCSC).
