NEWLY ACQUIRED CERTIFICATION: AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERS
Acquiring certifications for our company last year from ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) made us achieve additional excellence in our professional development and made us a lasting commitment to our clients to serve them better with efficient services. And also, giving us the opportunity to promote and protect the public welfare by giving the best possible use of science and technology for the good of the community, the nation, and the world at large.
SAMAHAN SA PILIPINAS NG MGA INDUSTRIYANG KIMIKA (SPIK) RESPONSIBLE CARE PROCESS SAFETY WORKSHOP – DECEMBER 9-10, 2014.
The SPIK Responsible Care Council (Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika) launched a workshop that focuses on safety. It was the Responsible Care Process Safety Workshop. The event was held at Acacia Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa City last December 9 – 10, 2014.
The SPIK organization invited us to be part of this event. The purpose of this event was to enhance the knowledge with regards to:
- Introduction to Occupational Health and Safety
- Process Safety Overview
- Different Methods of Recognizing, Evaluating and Controlling Hazards in Different Work Environment
- How to Deal With Danger Using the Methods of Behavioral Based Safety.
This workshop gave our company more tactics on how to decrease the accidents and translating it into higher efficiency. The training supported our commitment to providing a safe and hazard free work environment not only for our employees, but also to our valuable clients.
SEMINAR – INTENSIVE TRAINING ON THE GUIDELINES FOR PRESSURE BOUNDARY BOLTED FLANGE JOINT ASSEMBLY – November 28-29, 2014.
The last year of 2014 has been a great year for Redox Chemical Industries. We are invited by different organizations to attend their intensive training and certification programs for safety, technical processes and practical approach when it comes to industrial chemical applications.
The training we had was last November 28 – 29, 2014 at Celebrity Sports Club in Capitol Hills, Diliman Quezon City. Attended by our own Amado T. Reyes Jr. This seminar-intensive training is all about the Guidelines For Pressure Boundary Bolted Flange Joint Assembly which focuses on the technological, scientific and practical approach to problems of assembling bolted joints in large scale industrial applications.
The principles of discussion was after ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standard, and delivered and presented by a respected ASME Member, David E. Lay, MBA, who authored several courses of OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) across North America. This same training course was also delivered in several US states such as Las Vegas, NV USA and San Diego, CA USA and also in Madrid Spain, Korea and China.
The 2-day ASME training program course taught us the principle of safe bolting, the proper handling of tools, the best methods of achieving the best results while staying safe always, how to safely operate hydraulic tools and pumps and to recognize specific safety concerns associated with the use of hydraulic wrenches and high-pressure hydraulic system.
Redox Chemical Industries: Support Students of University of the Philippines, Diliman On Their Automation, Robotics, and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Project Last September 2014
The event was a report on Automation, Robotics, and Other Advanced Manufacturing Technologies for their Science, Technology, and Society course. Students are required to visit various factories and invited a high school robotics team for their presentation. They chose Redox Chemical Industries as one of the factories to support them and we didn’t hesitate to say yes on their once in a lifetime invitation to become part of their ongoing project.
The event was held last September 24, 2014. The students conducted an interview with the company and they also arranged an educational tour in our manufacturing factory. The interview focus about the company’s manufacturing technologies, machines, processes, etc,
The project went well hearing the feedback from one of the organizers of the project that the group received the highest report presentation, that is 98%.
We are thankful to the students of UP Diliman, especially with the help of Ms. Jeninna Romane Enriquez and Mr. Prince Jimdel Wraigne-Ventura for featuring our company and be part of their success.
